14 years of teaching experience in Karate, Cardio Kickboxing, and Self Defense at the Bernardo Karate head office
Began training in a style combining Aikido, and Jujutsu in 2008 and achieved 2nd Degree Black Belt in the system
Travelled to China and studied Kungfu full time at a Shaolin Temple for 1 year
Programs Offered at Exeter

Little Dragons (4 – 6 years)
This program is designed for students ages 4 to 6. The goal of the program is to introduce students, at this young age, to the benefits of the martial arts.

Children (7 – 12 years)
This program is for children ages 7-12 years old. At this age, kids are trying to figure out what interests and skills they have and parents are trying to figure out ways to keep their kids more physically active and away from video games

Teens (13 – 17 years)
The list of benefits for teens training in martial arts is numerous and far-reaching. Teens who study martial arts would much rather participate in activities that promote enjoyment and wellness instead of engaging in something that could pose potential health risks or harm.

Adults (18+ years)
Our Adult Bernardo Karate programs are designed for men and women ages 17 and older. We are committed to providing martial arts classes that help improve fitness levels, increase confidence.and personal empowerment.

Cardio Kickboxing
Our Bernardo Cardio Kickboxing classes are taught by Professional Black Belt Instructors. There is no experience necessary. There is no sparring, no contact, and no competitive element in our Cardio Kickboxing classes.

Character Development
Bernardo Karate & Cardio Kickboxing strongly believes in developing the character of our students along with the martial arts skills we teach them. This program gives our members the opportunity to discuss, practice, and apply character development traits in their lives.
