WKC Canadian Championships

This past month, we had 35 students compete at the 2019 WKC Canadian Championships in Gatineau, Quebec.  Our group of students brought home 68 medals in total: 30 gold, 25 silver and 13 bronze medals!  The top four students in each category have the opportunity to represent Canada at the WKC World Championships in Niagara Falls, New York, November 2nd to 8th.  Congratulations to the following Bernardo Karate students (in alphabetical order):  Jodi Anderson, Marko Arezina, Hilmer Bjarnason, Dannika Cotie, Abygale Currie, Kevin Dang, Andrea Elaschuk, Gordana Elaschuk, Mateja Elaschuk, Sherif El-Zatari, Florence Enns, Jessica Falardeau, Laila Fahroudi, Nicolas Franze, Noah Gabrielle, Evelyn Gibson, Gabriel Guerra, Keira Hymus, Kara Jackson, Ashley Johnston, Jordan Johnston, Cassie Leonard, Braden Misselbrook, Emily Mussio, Daniel Nofiel, Derrell Nofiel, Liam North, Jeremiah Pacan, Andrew Powell, Ty Pravong, Tom Roberts, Julian Szczyglewski, Sadie Thorner, Makayla Thornton, Mitchell Triplett.  We are very proud of all of our student’s efforts.
